IMPORTANT NOTE:  In late 2005, The Alnors moved to the Bay Area in California  Accordingly, since the Alnors no longer live in the Eastern U.S., the name Eastern Christian Outreach seems redundant.  They have closed the corporation known as Eastern Christian Outreach and will be continuing their efforts under the name The Christian Sentinel.  Stay tuned for further changes!

Mission and Doctrinal Statement

(Revised August 2008)

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." Ephesians 5:8-11 (NKJ)

We exist to:
bulletMonitor religious deception in this crucial part of history.
bulletTrack religious trends.
bulletGive facts in an objective fashion about religious leaders operating today.
bulletGive biblical answers to difficult questions
bulletEducate the Christian Church on new movements.
bulletTrack and analyze cultural trends.
bulletMonitor and expose the unethical behavior and practices and religious leaders today, not being afraid to expose lies, inconsistencies and phony credentials. This includes spotlighting those in our own tradition of the conservative evangelical church, and even examining those in the field of Christian discernment and apologetics.
bulletExpose plagiarism, false claims and distorted fact-gathering and poor research in the religious media, with a special emphasis on those in the world of religious publishing and broadcasting.
bulletUplift the body of Christ by providing devotional literature pertaining to issues of the day.

Doctrinal Statement of Eastern Christian Outreach, Inc.

bulletWe believe in the 66 books of the Bible as the inspired, inerrant, and fully authoritative Word of God.
bulletWe believe in the historic Christian doctrine of the Trinity, which is that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are equal in power and in glory.
bulletWe believe in the deity of Christ, the Son of God, His virgin birth, and His sinless nature. While on earth in human form He died on the cross, shedding His blood as a sacrifice for sin. Three days later He rose from the dead, and He is now exalted at God's right hand. We believe that He will come again personally and visually to complete God's plan.
bulletWe believe that all men have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. Salvation can only come through Christ. We are reconciled to God by Christ's shed blood.
bulletWe believe that the Holy Spirit ministers to Christ's church today, both corporately and individually to each believer. Through the Holy Spirit we can lead a godly life in this world, which is under Satan's dominion.
bulletWe believe that all true believers in Christ are part of one body which is His church, regardless of denominational affiliation.
